So I just got rid of Telus cable and got an antenna. However I am not sure of which way I should point it to get the best signal.

Do I point it at Mt seymour and Get CBC, CTV, Global. Or do I turn it the complete opposite direction at Salt Spring Island and pick up CHEK, CKVU (city tv), along with KVOS

I am located on near Burnaby in south couqitlem

Depends on which stations you want to watch. But aren't signals relayed by satellite? You could aim for the satellite and pick up stations that way. Or you could do what everyone did before cable came in, and jiggle the antenna around to get the best signal, every time you changed channels.

It is better to aim your attenna towards Mt. Seymour because most of Vancouver TV stations are broadcasting on top of Mt. Seymour. Also CKVU (Citytv) just recieved an approval from CTRC to start broadcasting DTV on Mt. Seymour instead of Salt Spring Island. So it is better to point your attenna towards Mt. Seymour.
