I am 17.

If i have a valid note from both my mom and dad stating I can use the airport to fly, what are the chances that they would call my parents to confirm this. Or can i get through them with just a note?

It is not the Airport you need to be concerned but the Immigration people.ALL minors travelling without Parents are checked.Make sure you give a phone number that will be answered at the time you expect to be in Canada. If the phone is not answered you May be waiting a long time or just be sent back to the US side. You also need other ID

The note you need needs more than being able to fly.You are crossing an International Border and going to another country

Minor children travelling alone must have proof of citizenship. We also strongly recommend that the children carry a letter from both parents (if applicable) that authorizes the person meeting them to take care of them while they are in Canada. The letter should include the length of the stay and the address and telephone numbers of the parents.

At age 17 no one will care much. Bring the note with you just in case. But my Canadian daughter flew across the US/Canadian border many times from age 14 with only her ticket and passport without any hassle. She has even done it on a one way ticket.



But there is always a chance they will call to confirm it. If you are going to try to pull this off with a forged note, you have to be prepared for it to go all wrong for you. If you get called out on it you could be looking at a 10 year to a lifetime ban on entering the USA.

u need a passport. i would check with Canadian border control and be 100% sure before u book.

There is no way at all to predict whether or not they will call your parents. Assume that they will. What do you mean by a note stating that you "can use the airport to fly"? What you need the note for is to show that you have your parents' permission to cross from one country to the other. And you will also need a passport.
