I'm not sure what that countries regulations are, If its obviously not allowed, like as in its considered a national artifact or something than don't risk it...other wise just mail the piece, rather than travel with it in your luggage. Not only do you put your self at less risk for being detained, but you have piece of mind know your bullion if safe especially if you can insure the package like you can in the united states.
